Cyber Criminals targeting business websites

If your business or the business you work at has a website, please ensure that regular backups are created.

Have your site security checked by a good web developer and have it hardened which makes it less likely to be breached.

New forms of ransomware are targeting websites and encrypting the contents and asking for a payment.

Please make sure that your website is backed up regularly and saved offsite.  Contact your web developer and make sure they have regular backup routines in place.  We also advise having a backup of the website or receiving regular backups that you can store – just in case.
